CARE Australia is looking to fill the position of Gender and Program Quality Manager in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The role has responsibility for improving CARE International in Vanuatu’s programming, by applying best practice in design, implementation and evaluation. It has a particular focus on gender equality and women’s empowerment, which includes robust Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning systems and impact measurement, effective partnerships and advocacy. In addition to that, the role provides strategic and technical advice to program and project managers and project staff.
Your significant experience and skills in the management of people and development programming will be highly valued. You will possess high level leadership, strategic thinking and capacity building skills as well as the ability to demonstrate experience in the design and development of monitoring and evaluation systems, program strategies and complex project interventions. Your technical knowledge and experience in the implementation of transformative gender approaches, complex gender analysis and advocacy related to gender issues will set you apart from others.
