CARE International in Vanuatu is looking to fill the position of WASH Technical Advisor in Tanna, Vanuatu. The role will work in association with the WASH Program Manager to oversee implementation, follow up and evaluation of WASH activities in communities across the Tafea Province. The role will be responsible for implementing technical elements of programs including installation of WASH infrastructures and facilitating safety and security planning for community drinking water.
Your extensive knowledge of piped gravity fed systems, rainwater harvesting, and drinking water safety and security planning will make you an ideal candidate for this role. You will have demonstrated experience in WASH related recovery, development response and resilience focused Disaster Risk Reduction interventions. Your ability to effectively facilitate group discussions and training to technical working groups will set you apart from others.
