CARE is a leading international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities.

As part of the Country Office Senior Management Team (SMT), the ACD Programs plays a key role in setting the strategic direction of the Country Office (CO). The role oversees all programs and projects and it’s responsible for ensuring the establishment and management of processes to support high quality program development and implementation. The role also leads senior managers ensuring best practice in both people and program management.

We are seeking an experienced strategic and senior operational manager with a proven ability to manage complex budgets, staff and programs. Your relevant experience in international aid, strategic thinking and decision making skills as well as capacity to build mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders will ensure you perform successfully in this position. Your experience in fundraising and developing winning proposals in addition to your excellent management and leadership skills, sound judgement, intellect and demonstrated record of innovation and achievement will set you apart from others.
