CARE International in Myanmar is looking to fill the position of Rakhine Area Coordinator in Maungdaw, Myanmar. The Rakhine Area Coordinator oversees the implementation and ongoing development of CARE's projects in Rakhine State, and represents CARE to external stakeholders. The role provides support and supervision to the heads of three field offices to ensure that projects are delivered according to agreed work plans and budgets.
We are looking for applicants who are interested in working in an exciting and challenging environment with several years’ experience in project management of multi-sector projects in conflict and disaster prone settings. Your experience in leadership and management in a complex international setting, as well as your excellent people management and interpersonal skills will make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your strong communication and negotiation skills, including capacity building and managing complex and diverse stakeholder relationships will set you apart from others.
