CARE International in Myanmar is looking to fill the position of Assistant Country Director (ACD)- Program Support (PS) in Yangon, Myanmar. The role is to manage the transition process to national leadership in program support in Myanmar while maintaining Program Support functions including finance and administration. The role will also undertake analysis of existing and future PS capacity needed, and develop and implement a transition plan. The ACD Program Support will also be responsible for directing finance and administration functions, building capacity and mentoring program support staff and contribute to the overall development and attainment of long-term strategic objectives as a member of the CI Country Office Senior Management team.
Your demonstrated experience in leadership and management in a complex international setting, excellent people management, change management and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop harmonious teams in a cross-cultural context will be highly regarded. Your demonstrated understanding and commitment to CI’s approach to gender equality and women’s empowerment including ethnic diversity and cultural sensitivity will make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your strong communication and negotiation skills, including capacity building and managing complex and diverse stakeholder relationships will set you apart from others.
